As the company migrated its focus from businesses to consumers, they needed to expand the functionality of the Web site to allow users to create personalized accounts with associated devices. Devicescape also wanted to monetize the site by selling Wi-Fi plans. We designed an automated system which recommends plans and displays coverage on a map.
Avaya iPhone Application

Given the extraordinary popularity of the Apple iPhone, Avaya needed an immediate solution for this platform. In the absence of a native SDK we opted to create a Web application that mimics the standard iPhone UI.
Kodak Picture Upload Technology
March 15, 2008 by donkinTraditionally a film-based company, Kodak has successfully migrated to the world of digital photography and still continues to deliver tools that fit the needs of the average American consumer. Many of these customers are now taking pictures with their mobile phones, but are unable to successfully transfer those pictures to their PCs. Donkin Creative was hired to design a user experience that would make picture transfers easy and transparent. The subsequent product automatically transfers pictures over a Bluetooth connection whenever the user is in range of their PC. This solution requires no software on the handset. The only interface is a simple Windows Control Panel and an indicator in the Task Tray.
Kodak Mobile Service
March 15, 2008 by donkinKodak Gallery alllows users to store, view, and share their pictures online. Kodak recognized that many of their customers were capturing pictures with their mobile phones. These users wanted access to their online gallery services directly from the phone. As a result, we designed a baseline user experience for the handset, using Nokia’s Series 60 platform. We then migrated this design for numerous mass market handsets including Sony Ericsson, Motorola, and Nokia Series 40.
Palm Viewer
March 15, 2008 by donkinPhoto Viewer debuted on the Zire 71 which launched in Spring 2003. Palm understood that handheld computers were moving beyond just being personal information managers and introduced a media-centric consumer line. This particular model feaured a camera and MP3 player. Photo Viewer allowed users to easily view, organize and edit images taken with the camera. It also synchronized with a desktop component in the Palm Desktop Software.
